FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU DELIVER?

Yes! Both pickup and delivery are available (delivery within Toronto & Greater Toronto Area only).

We are a home-based business located in Newmarket, Ontario. Delivery charges start at $20 and will vary by venue distance.

DO YOU DECORATE DESSERT TABLES?

We currently do not provide décor for dessert tables. We do, however, have cake stands and serveware available for rent, available with a minimum order of $250 for dessert items.

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED FOR AN EVENT?

For wedding cakes and large orders such as dessert bars, we kindly ask for 6 weeks notice; 2 weeks for all other orders. We will always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings.

WHAT IF I/MY GUESTS HAVE ALLERGIES/DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Please do let us know if there are any nut allergies at the time of ordering so that we can accommodate.

At this time we do not offer any vegan, gluten-free or keto-friendly items.

HOW LONG WILL MY CAKE/DESSERTS BE FRESH FOR?

Refrigeration is recommended for all cakes. If you have limited refrigerator space, we will do our best to coordinate delivery/pickup as close as possible to event/serving time. For optimal taste, all cakes should be served at room temperature (i.e., remove from fridge 2+ hours prior to serving). Cakes are best consumed within 2 days of receipt.

Sugar cookies will remain fresh for up to 7 days. All other desserts are best if consumed within 2 days. Refrigeration is recommended for all items except cookies and truffles.

HOW DO I TRANSPORT MY CAKE?

For pickup orders, we recommend placing your cake box on a flat surface in your vehicle, such as the floor of the passenger seat, with the air conditioning on. We highly recommend booking delivery for wedding cakes.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY ORDER?

All bookings will require a 50% deposit to secure the date as well as cover material costs. All deposits are non-refundable except under select circumstances. Balance of payment will be required 3-7 days before the delivery/pickup date.

DO YOU OFFER TASTING SAMPLES?

We offer cake samples on pre-scheduled days, as advertised, every year. Sample boxes can be ordered for $25 and are available for pickup only. Each sample box will offer 3-4 featured cake flavours. If an order is placed within 4 months, a $25 credit will go towards your order.
